2 Arrested in Raid on 5 Residences; Guns, Cash Seized

 Two men were arrested, and cash and guns were seized in Huntington Station early Wednesday morning, Suffolk police said.

Five residences were searched by officers and detectives from the  Second Precinct Gang Unit, Second Precinct Crime Section, Narcotics Section, Firearms Suppression Team and Criminal Intelligence Unit. They seized two  handguns and $100,000 in the raids on:

    • 123 First Ave., Apt. 307
    • 123 First Ave, Apt. 308
    • 76 East 9th St.
    • 211 East 17th St.
    • 66A East 8th St.

Arrested were

Faheem  Chapman, 27, of 123 First Ave., Apt. 308, who was charged with four counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree.

Marques Cheek, 20, of 233 Locust Dr., Bay Shore, was arrested at 211 E. 17th St.,  Huntington Station, and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree.

Chapman and Cheek are being held overnight at the Second Precinct  and are scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on Thursday..

The investigating is ongoing.
