The Huntington branch of the NAACP will host an in-person candidates forum Thursday.
The forum is scheduled for 6-9 pm at the South Huntington Public Library.
Early voting opens Saturday for the Nov. 2 election.
Two Town Board seats are open, while three people are running for town supervisor, and two are competing for the town highway superintendent’s job. In addition, six candidates are running for three Suffolk County Legislature seats.
On Oct. 27, The Northport Journal will be asking questions submitted by their subscribers at its online forum for town supervisor candidates. The forum is scheduled for 7-8:30 pm
