Two protests are planned this weekend in Huntington.
On Saturday, Families Belong Together, Together We Will Long Island and Long Island Inclusive Communities Against Hate will rally again at the intersection of Jericho Turnpike and Route 110 in Huntington Station to demand a resolution of the separation of families at the southern border. The protest is scheduled for 1 p.m.
On Sunday, Students Against Gun Violence Long Island will rally at Breezy Park at noon. The group’s goal is to speak up for communities affected by gun violence and to demand limits on gun access in the United States.
