2020: Bossert Expects Continued Effort for Student Education

Dear Elwood Community,

As we look ahead to a new year (and a new decade!), I am confident that as a school community, we will have many successes to celebrate. While we certainly can’t predict the entire year ahead, I do know one thing for sure: that the Elwood community will continue to work with one another to provide a well-rounded, comprehensive education for the students in our district.

Our staff will continue their tireless work in making school engaging for our students. I also know that they will continue to create personal connections with our students, working to meet each child’s individual needs.

To the students of Elwood, my wish for the new year ahead is that you continue to challenge yourself in your academic and extracurricular pursuits and that you are courageous enough to explore new opportunities. Whether it’s joining a new club, taking an elective that’s out of your comfort zone or volunteering time to give back to our community, you will grow most by trying something new and varying your experiences.

To the entire community, please accept my best wishes for a healthy and happy New Year. I look forward to sharing our students’ accomplishments with you throughout the year ahead.

Dr. Kenneth Bossert

Superintendent of Elwood schools
