Town to Ask Zoning Board to Pull Permits at 3 Properties

The Town of Huntington will seek to revoke three accessory apartment permits at a public hearings of the Zoning Board of Appeals Thursday.

The three properties are: 80 East 14th St., Huntington, 587 Caledonia Road, Dix Hills, and 123 Winding St., Huntington Station.

Also scheduled for public hearings are:

Greg Legakis  is requesting side yard relief to legalize a detached garage. Location of Property: north side of 1117 5th Avenue 145.63 feet east of Kenilworth Drive East Northport.

Timothy Kaywood is requesting side yard relief to legalize an egress window with well located too close to the property line. Location of Property:west side of 1183 Carlls Straight Path 1700 ft north of Otsego St Dix Hills

Danielle and Panagiotis Bantileskas requesting structure relief to legalize a fence on a retaining wall located on the property line. Location of Property: north side of 249 Bellerose Ave. 100 ft. east of Ridgewood Ave. E. Norhport.

Christopher Schaaf, requests retaining wall setback and square footage relief to construct retaining walls located too close to the property line and in excess of the allowable square footage. Location of Property: southwest corner of 5 Narcissus La. and Rose Ct. Northport

Alanna and Craig Weiss  request cumulative floor area for accessory structures and detached garage area relief to erect a one-story addition to the detached garage. Location of Property: east side of 106 Goose Hill Rd. 274.44 ft west of Huntington Rd. Cold Spring Harbor.

Bolla EM Realty LLC  requests lot area lot frontage long street side yard and side yard structure and accessory structure relief and signage relief in order to convert existing gas station repair shop into a gas station with canopy and convenience market. Location of Property:  East side of Walt Whitman Rd and west side Broadhollow Rd aprx.63.63 ft so of intersection Old Country Rd Melville

The Zoning Board of Appeals convenes at 6 p.m. at Town Hall.
