2nd Update: Man Missing From East Northport Found Unharmed

2nd update:

A man missing from a home in East Northport has been located unharmed.

Earlier:

Suffolk County Police have issued an alert for a missing East Northport man who suffers from dementia.

William Palmer, 58, a resident of the Birchwood Suites Assisted Living Facility at 423 Clay Pitts Road, was last seen at the Northport Long Island Rail Road station at approximately 2 p.m. Sunday.

Detectives believe he boarded a westbound train.

(updated clothing) Palmer is white, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing jeans, a black zip-up sweater, gray sneakers with orange bottoms and a blue baseball cap.

 

Detectives are asking anyone with information on Palmer’s location to call 911 or the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.

Silver Alert is a program that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
