3 More Covid-19 Deaths in Suffolk County

Forty-one more Covid-19 deaths were reported Wednesday, including three in Suffolk County. Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo said the latest bring the total deaths in New York State to 26,482.

Cuomo said  that the positive testing rate in all focus areas under the state’s micro-cluster strategy is 5.28 percent, and outside the focus zone areas is 3.04 percent.

 New Yorkers can call the state’s mental health hotline at 1-844-863-9314 for free emotional support, consultations and referrals to a provider or visit the Office of Mental Health for resources.

Suffolk County is also third in new infections in the state, with 543, behind New York City (1,916)  and Erie County (685).
