New Covid-19 deaths in New York rose to 166, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo reported Friday, bringing the statewide total to 30,208. Twelve of the newest deaths were in Suffolk County, bringing the county total to 2,311.
“As we enter this new year, New Yorkers should be energized with a bright hope for the future,” Cuomo said. “We know what we have to do to defeat this invisible enemy and we are reminded of what can be achieved when we come together and work toward a united solution.”
