Coffee Postponed

A coffee with Republican Town Board candidate Dr. David Bennardo, originally scheduled for Monday in Greenlawn, has been rescheduled until May 17 to accommodate the traffic expected for the wake for Officer Anastasios Tsakos, who was killed Tuesday in Queens.

The website State of Politics reported Friday that US Rep. Lee Zeldin has won the endorsements of county Republican leaders, giving the Long Island pol more than 50% of the weighted vote to become the GOP’s endorsed candidate.
