On Thursday, the new 7-Eleven at 378 Oakwood Road will open. The shop will have a convenience store and six gas pumps.
It will be the only 7-Eleven in Huntington that offers gas. Previously, the location was home to a deli, the Oakwood Country Market: Home of the Spiral Sliced Ham.
The Town of Huntington currently houses 11 7-Elevens; the one on Oakwood Road will be the twelfth. The grand opening will include a ribbon-cutting which will take place at 5 p.m.
New York claims 570 (soon to be 571) of the U.S.’s 7,905 7-Elevens.
