UPDATE: Missing Marine Found Unharmed

 

A U.S. Marine who was reported to be suicidal has been found unharmed in New York City, Suffolk County police said.

Hannah Bombria, 19, was reported missing by her parents, who live in Greenlawn.

Suffolk County police issued a Silver Alert Monday morning for a U.S. Marine who is reportedly suicidal.

Hannah Bombria, 19, whose parents live in Greenlawn, posted threats to commit suicide, police said. The posting by Bombria, who is stationed in North Carolina, said she planned to travel to New York City and her cellphone has pinged in the city.

Bombria is Asian, 5 feet 6 inches tall, approximately 130 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. She is not known to have a vehicle.

Anyone with information on Bombria’s location is asked to call 911 or the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.

As a reminder, Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
