Vin Altebrando Wrestling Festival Draws Scores of Competitors

Scores of wrestlers from high schools and middle schools took part in the second annual Vin Altebrando Wrestling Festival, in honor of the beloved Whitman coach who died last year.

Teams included Whitman, Huntington, Elwood, Half Hollow Hills, Sachem, Baldwin, Port Washington and several other teams from Nassau County.

The festival was outdoors on the athletic field at Walt Whitman High School.
