Another Teen Accused of Threat at School

A teen was arrested Friday afternoon after she made a threat at Oldfield Middle School, Suffolk County police said.

The threat of mass harm occurred on Monday, police said.

Friday’s arrest was the second time a student was arrested in recent days for making threats.  Another girl was arrested last week and accused of making threats at her middle school in East Northport.

Police said that a school official from the Harborfields district notified police about the threat Friday afternoon. The school searched the Greenlawn teen’s locker. She was arrested at the school at approximately 4:30 p.m.

The teenager was charged with Threat of Mass Harm, a Class B Misdemeanor, and will be arraigned in Suffolk County Family Court on a later date.
