Vicky Shaw, LNHA, left, administrator of Apex Rehabilitation & Healthcare, and Anabele Mazzochi, RN, director of Nursing at Apex, presented a $1,000 donation in support of cardiac services at Huntington Hospital. The pair was thanked by Lawrence Ong, MD, Chairman of Cardiac Services at Huntington Hospital. The funds were raised by Apex staff and visitors through a variety of events held in observance of National Heart Month in February. These included a bake sale and raffle.
Apex is a 195-bed skilled nursing and inpatient rehabilitation facility located in South Huntington.
