Art Walk Set for Sunday Downtown

An art walk is set for Sunday afternoon to bring visitors to many of the numerous art shops in Huntington Village.

The free, self-guided tour will include a stop at the Huntington Public Library where A Vanishing New York, a photographic exhibit by John Lazzaro, is on display. Kids can visit the Youth Program Room to complete a colorful masterpiece, while there’s a book sale going on.

The tour outlines stops at shops on Wall Street as well as Main, West Carver, New York, and Prime.

Displays include The Art and Soul of a Man, by Ebony Thompson, at the Huntington Arts Council, while at the Heckscher Museum, exhibiting artists Beth Atkinson, Darlene Blaurock, Peter Galasso, and Shawn McAvoy will be on hand.

Live music will be playing along the way.

A flyer with a map to all the stops will be available at a table under the Paramount marquee, or at any of the venues.
