A reading given by a poet you should know, and a film and discussion about an entertainer you probably already do, are among the happenings this week in the Huntington area.

About: Northport Arts Coalition hosts PIP every last Friday of the month. Each time, there is a featured poet, such as Lamont, whose most recent volume is Words Ripped From a Soul Still Bleeding, as well as an open mic, in which all may participate.
