What: Senior Second Wednesday, Docent Tour of The Age of Tiffany
Where: The Heckscher Museum of Art
When: June 13th, 2 pm – 3 pm
About: On the second Wednesday of the month, visitors 62+ are invited to enjoy free Museum admission all day and a midday musical performance or docent tour. On June 13, explore the exhibitions at your leisure and join us for a docent tour of the Museum’s exhibition The Age of Tiffany at 2 pm. Groups and individuals are welcome.

What: Pop-Up Prana Yoga
Where: Vanderbilt Museum
When: June 8th, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
About: Jenn Eagen of Pop Up Prana Yoga will offer a sunset yoga class on the Great Lawn next to the Vanderbilt Mansion, overlooking Northport Bay.
Check in is 6:30 p.m. Class begins 7 p.m. The $30 charge includes entrance fee, vinyasa flow, meditation and chance to win a top-of-the-line Manduka yoga mat.

Where: Walt Whitman Birthplace
When: June 9th, 7:00 pm
About: A collaboration with Nassau BOCES Long Island High School for the Arts’ students and teacher Michael Tester, and part of WWBA’s “Celebrating Women with Walt Whitman” series.
Michael Tester will produce and direct a theatrical presentation composed by students, which focuses on Whitman’s poetic references to women.
Art students will create the scenic backdrop to the performance, in addition to creating new artwork relating to the theme, which will be on display at the Birthplace for the following two months.
Audience Q&A after performance.
