PSA: Regular Cancer Screening Can Save Your Life
March is colorectal cancer awareness month, and Northwell Health wants to educate people about the importance of screening and preventing this disease from spreading. This year it is especially important not to skip screenings because of Covid-19. Colon cancer starts as a polyp, which is easiest to remove when found early and can be detected before it becomes cancer.
