Steers Beach in Northport is closed to bathing because the Suffolk County Health Department found excessive levels of bacteria, the department said Friday.
Gold Star Battalion Park Beach in Huntington, which closed Thursday, remain closed, as well as Huntington Beach Community Association Beach.
Beaches will reopen when further testing reveals that the bacteria have subsided to acceptable levels.
