The  turf field at Manor Field Park in Huntington Station was named for him in 2016.

Under Boozer, Town Councilwoman Joan Cergol, said, the town opened its first skate park, in Greenlawn, started an ice-skating camp and established other camps throughout  the community.  “His passion and leadership inspired our young people our young people to thrive,” she said.
