A gas station operator has bought the Huntington Station property where it previously was the tenant.
Long Island Business News reported that the .55-acre site a 231 Walt Whitman Road sold for $1.4 million to Leon Petroleum, which operates the BP station.
Allison Caldwell of Plainview-based Silber Investment Properties represented the buyer and the sellers, Thomas and Doreen Scanlon, in the sales transaction.
“The tenant of this property had a right of first refusal and recognized the value in owning a property on the busy Route 110 corridor,” Adam Silber, principal of Silber Investment Properties, told LIBN.
