Breast Cancer Patients Eligible for Emergency Assistance Program

Breast cancer patients who are in treatment are invited to apply for a Covid-19 emergency assistance program offered by the United Breast Cancer Foundation.

The goal of the program, which was launched in May, is to support breast cancer patients during the program, aiming to make sheltering at home a little easier.

Recipients will receive a variety of online gifts to help with expenses and stress relief. This includes an Amazon Gift Card, a 60-day free trial to Daily Burn, and a lifetime subscription to the app, Elly.

Daily Burn is an app that provides users with access to over 1,000 different daily workouts. Elly is the first empathetic audio companion that aims to help improve cancer patients overall wellbeing.

The COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Award is valued at over $700. More than  40 breast cancer patients have received help through this program.

The application may be found here. UBCF is processing requests through email and the online application only. UBCF asks that applicants only apply one time for the award.
