Burlington Moving In to Huntington Commons

Burlington, a national discount retailer of clothing and home goods, will be moving into the former Marshalls store at Huntington Commons.

Urban Edge Properties said Burlington has signed a long-term lease for the space, which was vacated when Marshalls moved into another location in the center.

In addition, a Prime Urgent Care office has signed up for a 3,112-square foot space and is expected to open before the end of the year, bringing the lease rate to 92 percent of capacity.

The center, formerly known as the Big H,  has undergone significant renovations  improving signage and new facades,  and added ShopRite to the lineup in December.

Huntington Commons also recently announced newly signed concepts including CycleBar, GOLFTEC, iStretchPlus, New Chapter Apparel, and Phenix Salons.

“Burlington is a terrific complement to our existing merchandise mix at Huntington Commons,” said Leigh Lyons, senior vice president at Urban Edge.  “With essential grocery alongside compelling value retail as well as new fitness and wellness options, there is even more reason for shoppers in the surrounding community to visit the property more often.”

Urban Edge Properties was represented by Lee Allen of Arc Advisors Inc for the Prime Urgent Care deal. Clifford N. Simon & David Rosen of CNS Real Estate represented Burlington.
