Campaign: Roe Rally; Fundraisers Scheduled

First Congressional District candidate Kara Hahn has a fundraiser scheduled for Sunday. Hahn, a Democratic member of the Suffolk County Legislature, is running to succeed US Rep. Lee Zeldin, a Republican running for governor. The address for Hahn’s fundraiser will be provided upon registration.

Republican Spring Social
Huntington Republicans plan a fundraiser May 23 to support their candidates.
The Spring Social will be held at Harbor Head Brewing Company in Northport from 5 to 7 p.m.
Ticket prices range from $150 to $1,500 for the event.
Rally for Roe
Democratic congressional candidate Melanie D’Arrigo has scheduled three rallies this weekend to support the Roe v. Wade decision.
The move comes after a draft opinion by the US Supreme Court leaked last week that would upend the 49-year-old ruling that permits abortion across the country.
One of the three rallies will be in East Northport. D’Arrigo, who is running to succeed US Rep. Tom Suozzi in the third district, said, ““This is a five alarm fire moment, where we must come together to fight for our fundamental rights. Rallies are a wonderful way to raise awareness, but we need the hard on-the-ground work, too.” Suozzi is running for governor.
The East Northport rally is Saturday at  1-4 p.m., at the Stop & Shop, 3126 Jericho Turnpike.
