Santa and Mrs. Claus welcomed children at a huge holiday display in East Northport Friday night. James and Karissa Tomeo hosted the display as a fundraiser for Cohen Children’s Medical Center and as a way to remember James’ mother, Jacki.
The display on the Tomeos’ lawn and house included hundreds of brightly lit Christmas characters, from wooden soldiers, to animals, and elves. Hot chocolate, raffles and other attractions were also available.
The public is welcome until 9 p.m. Tomeo said he and his friends had been working on the display since the day after Halloween.
