Celebration to Highlight Hispanic Culture and Community Service

Community leaders, town and county officials, school districts and others will come together Friday night in Huntington for the  25th annual Hispanic Heritage celebration.

Veronica Melgar, educator, counselor and community activist, will be the keynote speaker at the event, which will be held at 7 p.m. at Jack Abrams STEM Magnet School, 155 Lowndes Ave., Huntington Station. The event includes cultural musical performances and dinner, honoring Solange Rich for service to the community. 

The celebration is sponsored by Palacios Law Group, David Sperling Law Offices, People’s United Bank, and HealthFirst.
