The Centerport Fire Department invites the community to its annual Christmas Tree Lighting and visit by Santa at 7pm on Sunday at the Centerport firehouse at 9 Park Circle.
The festivities start with caroling led by students from the Tri-M Music Honor Society of Harborfields High School, followed by the lighting of the tree.
Santa and his helpers will arrive on a fire engine from the North Pole, where he will greet the children and spread holiday cheer. The Centerport Ladies Auxiliary will be serving hot chocolate and donuts for everyone to enjoy.
