Chabad, Melville Fire Department Hand Out Masks

Chabad of Melville and volunteers from the Melville Fire Department sponsored a donation of packets of face masks Tuesday to help fight the Covid-19 epidemic.

Rabbi Asher Vaisfiche stood at the entrance  of the fire department to wave in cars for the drive-up giveaway as the volunteers handed the packets through car windows. Drivers in about 800 vehicles received masks.

Masks are required for everyone using public space if they can’t main a distance of six feet from other people. Employers of workers classified as essential–from medical to grocery stores to media–must provide cloth or medical face masks.
