Läderach-chocolatier suisse will open its doors Wednesday at Walt Whitman Shops, one of the four new businesses coming to the mall in the next few months.
The new store will replace Godiva Chocolates.
It will be the third opening of a Läderach store on Long Island next week, preceded by Roosevelt Field Monday and Smith Haven on Tuesday.
The company said the store will offer more than 85 varieties of fresh artisanal chocolate directly from Switzerland. The shop will include a dedicated fresh chocolate counter, where customers can select multiple varieties of its hand-broken chocolate bark
. It said its world chocolate master, Elias Läderach, leads the group’s production and that all chocolate is made from bean-to-bar in-house and finished by hand.
