Parade of the Christian Faithful in Huntington Station

Marchers celebrated Christian Day Saturday in Huntington Station, parading from 15th Street to Church Street to mark their faith.

Members of three Latino evangelical churches carried American flags and signs expressing their beliefs as they walked the route.

Also participating in the parade, led by Suffolk County police cars, were the Huntington Manor Fire Department and local elected officials and candidates,including Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone and Town Supervisor Chad Lupinacci.

Light of Salvation Church said the eighth annual parade served to show that its mission goes beyond the four walls of its church.
