The Cinema Arts Centre will host three documentaries that focus on the Holocaust.
Who Will Write Our History, Nobody Wants Us, and Anne Frank Parallel Stories will screen and include open forums for discussion.
Who Will Write Our History tells the story of a resistance group in the Warsaw Ghetto. The screening will be co-presented with Kehillath Shalom Synagogue and will include a post-film discussion led by Rabbi Lina Zerbarini. Wednesday, January 8th at 7:30 p.m.
The second film, Nobody Wants Us, recounts the experiences of a group of Jewish refugees who were denied entry to the United States. This event will feature an in-person discussion with the film’s director and representatives from the Sousa Mendes Foundation. Sunday, February 2 at 10 AM
The final screening, taking place in March, is a retelling of Anne Frank’s life through the examination of her diary. Tuesday, March 3 at 7:30
