Volunteers Tackle Huntington Station Cleanup

Volunteers  of all ages from Huntington Station Happy Helpers and Huntington Matters took brooms, dustpans, trashbags and cleaning supplies out onto New York Avenue Sunday for their 10th annual Huntington Station cleanup.

Several local political leaders stopped by to lend their support.

The project included collecting books and food for donation to Hope Day on June 1 at Manor Field in Huntington Station. Hope Day is a  free community festival sponsored by churches in Huntington Station.
