The Northport Police Department invites residents to a Coffee With A Cop event Thursday between 8 am and 11am at Copenhagen Bakery, 75 Woodbine Ave., Northport.
This event is designed for members of the public and police officers to have an informal conversation and exchange of ideas. There is no agenda for this meet and greet.
During the event Copenhagen Bakery will provide a free cup of coffee to all members of the public who participate.
Northport Police Chief Bill Ricca said, “I hope there is wide spread public support for this program, and if so, the Northport Police Department will schedule more of these events, and at other locations throughout the Village.”
