To be named to the dean’s list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

Cedarville University
Kristin Calderone, a Industrial & Innov Design major from Huntington Station was named to the Dean’s Honor List at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio.
This recognition required Calderone to maintain a 3.75 minimum GPA while carrying at least 12 credit hours during spring semester 2019.
Cedarville University, located between Dayton and Columbus, Ohio is an accredited, Christ-centered, Baptist institution with an enrollment of 4,193 undergraduate, graduate, and online students in more than 150 areas of study.
New York Institute of Technology
the 2019 graduates from the physician assistant (PA) studies program at New York Institute of Technology were welcomed into the profession with a white coat ceremony. White coat ceremonies are a rite of passage celebrating the completion of a student’s training as he or she graduates and goes on to pursue a career as a PA. In marking the transition into professional life, the event centers around the symbolic awarding of a new long white coat to replace the short student white coat worn daily to class and clerkships.
