Collision Repair Shop Plans ‘Driver Education’ Sessions

The owner of the Huntington Collision Center is working on plans for a ‘driver’s education’ session at his shop on West Jericho Turnpike.

Plans include teaching young drivers about their vehicles, how to behave during a police traffic stop and deadling with insurance, said the owner, who prefers to be known as just Mike. Other possibilities for the one-hour sessions include car maintenance, how to change a flat tire, and safety tips while driving, especially under poor weather conditions.

Mike said he is hoping to launch the educational sessions by July. Planning is sitll underway.

The shop is at  99 E Jericho Turnpike, Huntington Station.
