Huntington Supervisor Ed Smyth will keep town cooling centers open to residents for two more days, Monday and Tuesday, as a heat wave continues.
“Remember to stay hydrated and keep your family and pets indoors as much as possible during this extreme heat,” Smyth said Sunday.
The National Weather Service said heat index values are expected to hit 95 to 100 degrees Sunday and up to 102 on Monday.
