UPDATE:St. Hugh’s Church outreach program will start a drive-through pantry Monday-Friday during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Town  Hall and all town facilities with the exception of the Crab Meadow and Dix Hills golf courses, town parks and playgrounds will be closed to the public starting Monday, the town said Sunday. The closings include the youth bureau and the recycling center.

Suffolk County said said eight people are infected with the virus, also known as the coronavirus, in Huntington.

In this case, the right thing to do is to temporarily close.”
