The driver was injured in a crash into a tree on Salem Ridge Drive Sunday about 3 p.m.
The Centerport Fire Department said the driver was taken to Huntington Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Volunteer firefighters and rescue personnel responded with an engine, heavy rescue truck, ambulance, fire police and paramedic unit. Crews were under the direction of Chief Richard Miltner, Second Assistant Chief Kyle McLaughlin and Deputy Chief Medical Dr. Jack Geffken.
