Crew Kitchen and Bar has closed and the building is for sale.
When the restaurant at 138 New York Ave. closed as the Covid-19 epidemic arrived, building owner Jack Santomauro said he realized he had to sell the building. The 16,000-square foot building has about 23 parking spots, eight in the front and 15 in the rear.
Also for sale is the former Pier 1 Imports store at 7 East Jericho Turnpike, a 7,013 square foot building on a 0.37 acre corner. That store was closed in January along with hundreds of other stores in the chain, and last week, the company announced that it hopes to close all of its remaining stores.
The building, listed at $2.98 million, has a 3,000-square foot lower level with 9 foot clear ceiling heights.
