Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty Names Main Street Office Manager

Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty (DGSIR), one of the nation’s leading realtors, is pleased to announce the promotion of Huntington resident Melissa Stark to sales manager of its Huntington office.  Stark most recently served as executive assistant to Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty President Patricia Petersen and Chief Executive Officer Deirdre O’Connell.

“Melissa is an extremely capable and driven professional who has proven herself both as an administrator and realtor,” said O’Connell.  “Her organizational and people skills are outstanding, and she is highly regarded throughout the entire organization for her work ethic, knowledge, and commitment to our clients, customers and real estate advisors.  We are committed to upward mobility and growth opportunities for our younger people, and we are confident that Melissa will excel in her new role.”

During her time in the executive office at Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, Stark’s responsibilities encompassed a wide range of administrative, management and other duties that made her a valued member of the corporate team.  She has been an important resource for the organization’s sales managers, training new administrative staff, coordinating community events, industry conferences and corporate events including the Gold Circle of Excellence, Silver Circle of Accomplishment and Sterling Circle of Achievement celebrations that recognize and reward top producing real estate advisors and provide networking and business development opportunities. Corporate charitable contributions and sponsorships also fell under Stark’s purview, and as sales manager she will lead the community outreach efforts of the Huntington office.

“I eager and excited to take this next step in my career right here in Huntington,” enthused Stark.  “I’ve learned so much under two of the best mentors in the real estate industry, Pat Petersen and Deirdre O’Connell.  Their tutelage, wisdom and entrepreneurial leadership is invaluable and inspirational. I’ve also gained valuable experience and insights from some of the top producing real estate advisors in the business.  I couldn’t be more pleased with this opportunity to continue to work with the best of the best.”

In her new role, Stark will play a key role over the next few months in the relocation of the Huntington office to a prime downtown Huntington Village location.  The new office will reap the benefits of state-of-the-art infrastructure and the high visibility and heavy foot traffic of a destination village known for its popular restaurants, shopping, and entertainment venues.
