Dix Hills Fire Department volunteers assisted the Chai Center with a gelt drop at their Chanukah celebration and Menorah lighting ceremony on Wednesday.
The ladder truck dropped Chanukah Gelt (chocolate coins) to about 150 eager children at the celebration. Chiefs Tom Napolitano, Alan Berkowitz, Joe Williamson and Captain Scott DiPino assisted at the event.
