DNA Diet Plan Website Launches

Based entirely on genetics, a new website has been created in Melville that can supposedly help its clients lose weight.

This personalized DNA Diet Plan allows members to upload their data from other sites, including AncestryDNA or 23andMe, to receive customized weekly meal plans, grocery lists, recipes, exercise plans and other content about how genetics play a role in weight loss. Members also can gain access to the widely popular Mayo Clinic.

“I believe the secret to losing weight is in your DNA and we have combined a diet with the latest science together with content from Mayo Clinic,” Scott Penn, founder of DNA Diet Plan, said. “I have had my own personal weight loss journey and found that the diet industry’s one-size-fits-all approach simply does not work.”

The membership is $9.99 for a 12-week trial and $99 for three months.
