The Dollar Tree store on New York Avenue will open Thursday, with a ribbon cutting slated for 9 a.m.
The building covers about 9,500 square feet and replaces a used-car shop at 1626 New York Ave., at the corner of 12th Street.
Dollar Tree stores are open seven days a week.
Kayleigh M. Painter, Dollar Tree’s investor and media relations manager, said a store of this size usually employs 12 to 20 workers. Those interested in working at the store are invited to apply online at www.DollarTree.com/careers or in person at the store location.
“Dollar Tree continues to grow and we are proud to be part of the Huntington Station community,” Painter said.
The doors will open at 9 a.m.
