A Greenlawn girl celebrated her fifth birthday Tuesday with a caravan of well-wishers.
Emma Pfeiffer lost her father, Greg, to pancreatic cancer last year. With New York under orders to limit contacts with others because of the coronavirus epidemic, a traditional birthday party seemed unrealistic. The solution was the caravan of about 50 cars filled with adults and children, driving by her house with signs, horns and shouts of Happy Birthday.
