Suffolk County Police arrested a woman Wednesday for driving with a suspended and revoked driver’s license after stopping her for traffic violations in Huntington.
Police said Dawn Taddeo was operating a 1996 Buick Regal on Pulaski Road without a registration sticker displayed on her windshield. A Second Precinct patrol officer made a traffic stop and discovered that her license had been suspended 89 times.
Police determined that Taddeo’s vehicle was unregistered and had improper or switched license plates.
Taddeo, 49, of Huntington Station, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 1st degree. Taddeo was also issued summonses for vehicle and traffic law violations. The vehicle was impounded.
Taddeo is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday morning at First District Court in Central Islip.
