A driver’s education teacher subjected a child to a lewd act during an instruction course in Huntington, Suffolk police said Saturday.
Jeffrey Hinch, who was employed by the East Meadow Driving School, of Levittown, after a complaint was made by a 16-year-old female of a sexual act committed by the instructor.
The 16-year-old female told police that Hinch picked her up from her residence in Huntington for a driving instruction course on Tuesday. Police said that during the instruction, the female saw Hinch commit a lewd act. The victim was then returned to her residence without further incident.
Hinch, 29, of Bay Shore, was charged with Public Lewdness and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Saturday.
