Drones and water will be on the agenda when the Town Board convenes Tuesday afternoon.
A permit procedure for drones taking off or landing on town property is one of several public hearings that are scheduled.
Also on the public hearing agenda are:
- Authorizing various actions be taken upon certain properties designated as blighted
- Increase and improvement of facilities of the Huntington Sewer District,consisting of primary digester rehabilitation, at the estimated maximum cost of $800,000.
- Consider the increase and improvement of facilities of the Greenlawn Water District, consisting of the construction of water meter replacement, at the estimated maximum cost of $1 million.
- Consider the increase and improvement of facilities of the Dix Hills Water District, consisting of improvements at Plant #3 and SCADA improvements at Plants #1 and #6, and meter replacements, at the estimated maximum cost of $1.5 million.
