An Oak Beach man was arrested by Northport Village police on multiple drug charges.
James Gilchrist, 62, was arrested on Feb. 27.
While on patrol a police officer noticed a car being operated on Fort Salonga Road with one headlight out.
A check found the car was not registered, and the plates belonged on another vehicle.
Police said they found a pipe that they believe to be methamphetamine, two ziplock bags
containing crystal methamphetamine and 3 hypodermic needles, two of which contained a substance believed to be methamphetamine. He was arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing.
He was released on $100 cash bail.
