Early Voting for General Election to Open Oct. 26

Early voting in Suffolk County in the Nov. 5 general election will open Saturday Oct.26 and continue through Sunday Nov. 3.

Huntington voters will be able to cast their early ballots at the VFW Post 1469, 210 W Pulaski Rd, Huntington Station.

There is no early voting for the June 25 primary.

The Suffolk Board of Elections notes that times and places could change.

Early voting was one of several changes approved by the state legislature in January. Other changes included consolidating federal and state primaries into one date, and, starting in 2020, allowing younger Americans to pre-register to vote when they are 16 and 17. Their registrations will be marked as pending until they are 18 and can vote.
