An East Northport man was seriously injured Saturday morning in a crash in Dix Hills, Suffolk County police said.
Patrick Salvo was driving a 2019 Mazda CX-5 north on East Deer Park Road, just north of Deforest Road North, at 3;10 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle, police said. The vehicle crossed over the southbound lanes and struck a tree.
Salvo, 27, was taken in serious condition to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore.
Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating the crash. The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Anyone with information is asked to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
